In my childhood I played hide and seek with my friends.
I used to hide behind trees, behind the cupboard in my house, but my friends used to trace me some how.
I play this game even now.
The only difference is now, I play this game with my life where I try to hide my sorrows behind the veil of a smile and fake happiness,
but somehow my tears show it all and I get caught in the never ending drama called life.
there are many more in the world whose lives are more complicated with irreversible problems. think about them and be a smiley....
ReplyDeleteIt's very touching and profound! I loved the ending!
ReplyDeletePeople its just my creation... A sad poem doesnt mean i am sad ...comment on da art....
ReplyDeletethe comparison between childhood and your (the narrator's)current situation is good...explains how situations change with time...a good one!
ReplyDeleteA very good read...
ReplyDeleteAlong with Hide and Seek other games we play with life include Tug of War - where we put in all our strength to fight for our rights, Chess - where we plan a strategy to win and Snakes and Ladders - That symbolizes the Ups and Downs we face!
